Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Operating at the intersection of product strategy and engineering execution, the full-time Technical Product Owner will manage features across the My Atlantic Bay borrower portal, collaborate with engineering teams on API design and integrations, and drive the roadmap for the embedded AI chatbot platform in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Owning product features from discovery through launch, including writing clear user stories and managing the product backlog
• Partnering with engineering on technical collaboration, such as API design and vendor integrations
• Driving innovation by evaluating AI tooling and identifying automation opportunities to enhance developer productivity and borrower experiences

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a technical PM or software product role
• A background as a software developer or engineer, with the ability to read code and engage with technical tradeoffs
• Experience managing a backlog and sprint workflow in tools like Linear, Jira, or Asana
• Hands-on familiarity with mobile product development, particularly React Native
• Strong written communication skills for producing detailed product specifications and status reports
