Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Technical Product Owner focused on Spec-Driven Development and GIS, the successful candidate will manage mobile application backlogs, drive field-centric execution, and leverage AI tools to enhance product delivery for public safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and prioritize the backlog for mobile applications, ensuring clarity in user stories and acceptance criteria
• Lead sprint planning and execution, acting as the voice of field users and addressing real-world usage challenges
• Utilize AI tools to refine requirements, generate documentation, and improve backlog prioritization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
• Strong experience with mobile applications (iOS, Android, or responsive web) and offline-first design
• Familiarity with GIS, mapping, or geospatial systems is a strong plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps
