Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Technical Product Owner on a contract basis, this remote position will manage the migration of data processing and workflows from SQL Server to Databricks, ensuring scalability, performance improvements, and data reliability within a complex healthcare data environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage detailed user stories in Jira, refining them throughout the development lifecycle
• Translate SQL-based processes into actionable requirements for migration to Databricks
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery expectations

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases, including data modeling and batch processing
• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner in highly technical environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing user stories
• Experience defining data validation and automated testing strategies
• Familiarity with healthcare data and experience in regulated data environments is preferred
