Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Product Owner will manage the full requirements and delivery lifecycle within an assigned engineering pod, leading stakeholder discovery and translating business complexity into engineering-ready specifications while directing AI-assisted tooling for requirement generation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead discovery for assigned initiatives by collaborating with business stakeholders to define problem scope and establish requirements
• Translate business and operational requirements into technically precise epics, features, and user stories, ensuring alignment with business needs
• Maintain the product backlog, refining and sequencing work to ensure it is engineering-ready across new features and enhancements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience in technical product ownership or software engineering in an Agile environment
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, relational database design, and web application architecture
• Proficiency in T-SQL for data investigation and requirements verification at the database level
• Experience with AI-assisted requirements tools and proficiency in Jira and Confluence
