Technical Product Owner
Job Summary
Owning the product backlog and delivery roadmap for an integrated scheduling platform, the contract Technical Product Owner will work remotely to bridge clinical operations, care center leadership, and technical delivery teams by translating scheduling needs into prioritized features and user stories.
Key responsibilities
- Owns and prioritizes the product backlog for patient scheduling and administrative portal workstreams, aligning with business priorities
- Translates business requirements into well-defined epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Partners with UX, engineering leads, and QA to ensure delivered functionality meets technical and end-user requirements
Required qualifications
- Experience in product ownership or management within a healthcare or clinical setting
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working with Scrum teams
- Proficiency in translating complex business requirements into technical specifications
- Familiarity with EHR and enterprise scheduling/referral systems
- Ability to make prioritization calls on scope, trade-offs, and sequencing of deliverables
