Technical Product Owner
Job Summary
To support a government healthcare client, the full-time remote Technical Product Owner will define product vision and roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable data and platform solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for infrastructure and data platform capabilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing technical debt with user-facing features and stakeholder needs
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience in product ownership or technical roles with responsibilities in requirements and solution design
- Experience with infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), or data pipelines in a production environment
- Hands-on experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and relevant tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions
