Technical Program Director

Job Summary

Leading the technical implementation of complex strategic initiatives, the full-time Technical Program Director will manage cross-functional programs, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence while facilitating communication among engineering, product, and business teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain program baselines for scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring clear status communication across teams
• Proactively identify and resolve risks and blockers, escalating issues as necessary to maintain project timelines
• Oversee program spend and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and managing vendor relationships where applicable

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading complex, technical, cross-functional programs, particularly in software delivery or automation initiatives
• PMP certification or equivalent program management experience
• Proficiency in both structured and Agile delivery models, with the ability to apply the appropriate methodology
• Experience using program/PPM tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, tailoring messages for different audiences
