Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

To lead the execution of Pinterest's Ads & Core Infrastructure portfolio, the full-time Technical Program Manager will manage end-to-end program execution, build operating models, and partner with engineering leaders, while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end TPM execution for the Ads & Core Infrastructure portfolio, focusing on projects like Shopping index scale-out and API modernization
• Build and implement the execution operating model, including milestones and accountability structures to enhance team clarity and speed
• Manage and develop a small team of TPMs, providing direction and coaching while maintaining hands-on involvement with complex programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (10+ years in a technical, program, or analytical role)
• 5+ years of experience in a technology people management role, such as engineering manager or program manager
• Proven experience in ads infrastructure or platform-scale data systems
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at the VP level
• Experience in building execution systems and translating strategy into executable multi-quarter roadmaps
