Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

To enhance decision-making across multiple areas at Airbnb, the full-time remote Staff Technical Program Manager will partner with engineering, operations, and product teams to drive large cross-functional initiatives, manage project schedules, and improve organizational capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional initiatives to increase productivity of technical teams
• Manage effective communications on key decisions, status, and risks to ensure accountability and timeline management
• Develop a portfolio view of CSE programs and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and drive projects end-to-end

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the software development industry, with at least 7 years as a technical program manager
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of influencing others and strong analytical skills
• Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment with effective communication across multiple groups
• Familiarity with task management tools such as Asana or Jira
