Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Owning performance prevention, diagnostics, and safe rollout for flagship products and next-gen AI features, the full-time Technical Program Manager will manage high-visibility performance programs across desktop, browser, and mobile platforms, ensuring optimal performance for Figma's services remotely or from one of the US hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead performance programs focusing on flagship product performance and AI features, including load times, FPS, and model inference latency
• Coordinate cross-organizational initiatives such as observability, regression prevention, and safe rollout of AI capabilities
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and manage incident response for performance-related issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering, platform TPM, or SRE with a focus on SaaS products
• Proven expertise in load, stress, and scalability testing
• Strong understanding of web performance metrics and mobile profiling tools
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation for performance testing
• Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and capacity planning
