Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead Agile software development teams supporting DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of application and system projects from intake through delivery using SAFe DevSecOps frameworks
• Lead Agile Scrum teams, ensuring alignment across products, deliverables, and project timelines
• Provide regular reporting on project milestones, risks, blockers, and escalation needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, including risk identification and mitigation
• Strong experience leading complex projects in Agile environments (SAFe preferred)
• Proven ability to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
