Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

Owning the operating rhythm of technical teams, the full-time remote Technical Project Manager will manage progress tracking, clear blockers, run standups, and oversee bug and ticket backlogs while collaborating closely with software engineering, data science, and underwriting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run standups, sprint planning, and project check-ins across Engineering and Underwriting
• Track progress and blockers across active workstreams, surfacing issues before they become delays
• Own bug tracking and ticket triage, managing the incoming queue effectively

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in technical project management or a closely related role
• Engineering fluency with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle, git, and release processes
• Experience in insurance, banking, or financial services preferred
• Ability to operate without a complete playbook and turn vague requests into executable tasks
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and tasks effectively
