Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading a mission-critical platform engineering program for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Technical Project Manager will oversee strategic planning, program execution, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with contract requirements in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the program, managing technical, management, and administrative contract performance objectives
• Oversee strategic planning, milestone management, and risk mitigation to ensure program success
• Maintain proactive communication with the contracting officer and VA leadership regarding program status and issues

Required qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in program or project management, with 5 years managing complex federal IT programs
• Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Expertise in managing complex technical programs in an Agile SAFe environment
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance or eligibility for one
