Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

Experienced in managing high-volume data annotation projects, the full-time Technical Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, implement Agile methodologies, and manage vendor relations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of data annotation projects, translating model training data needs into structured timelines
• Implement project management methodologies to track progress, unblock bottlenecks, and manage backlogs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and performance metrics

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Operations, Technical Project Management, or MLOps, focused on AI/ML training data
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion
• Hands-on experience with data annotation workflows for text, image, video, audio, or multimodal data
• Experience managing and communicating with third-party vendors or offshore operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
