Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

To lead high-priority IT programs, the contract Technical Project Manager will coordinate activities among project personnel, technology teams, and stakeholders while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project execution, including developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures
• Coordinate technical delivery across various teams and stakeholders, resolving delivery problems and ensuring alignment with business outcomes
• Establish project governance routines and prepare status reports, tracking milestones, risks, and resource plans

Required qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience managing technology or service delivery projects in complex environments
• Proven ability to create project plans, WBS structures, and governance materials
• Strong understanding of agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira
