Technical Project Manager
Job Summary
Managing the execution of financial services programs, the full-time remote Technical Project Manager will oversee project staff, ensure quality assurance, and provide expert guidance on risk management and budget analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management guidance and direction to project personnel in executing tasks defined in the PWS
- Proactively monitor program performance and provide expert SME input to improve the PMO's overall maturity
- Manage project financials and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of deliverables while identifying and mitigating risks
Required qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management
- 5 years of experience leading programs using Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) and SAFe methodologies
- Experience managing program tasks within the VA, with knowledge of VA's VIP management process
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related field; additional relevant experience may substitute for degree
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master preferred
