Technical Project Manager
Job Summary
Leading multi-phased, multi-year IT software development initiatives, the remote Technical Project Manager (TPM) will define project scope, manage project issues, and develop project plans and schedules on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Define project requirements and manage the project lifecycle through deployment
- Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring milestones are met
- Facilitate communication between vendors, technical teams, and executives while identifying and mitigating project risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technology or business-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of project management and software development or IT management experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical client-facing and/or vendor-facing role
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project
- Experience managing requirements and scope in complex projects
