Technical Project Manager
Job Summary
Leading a large-scale data and reporting transformation initiative, the part-time Technical Project Manager will drive project planning, stakeholder communication, and execution for a complex migration program focused on legacy technology modernization in a remote contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end rollout plan for decommissioning a legacy reporting platform, including timeline development and status reporting
- Segment and manage communication strategies for distinct stakeholder groups, ensuring effective engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
- Coordinate the day-to-day work of a small delivery team of data and BI engineers while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT programs, system migrations, or platform consolidation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-audience stakeholder communication
- Proven ownership of program artifacts, including rollout plans and status tracking
- Working knowledge of data warehouse and BI reporting concepts
- Experience mentoring or developing junior/entry-level team members
