Technical Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading complex technical initiatives in a remote full-time capacity, the Technical Project Manager will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to application modernization, system enhancements, and cloud adoption while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, from initiation to closeout, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes
• Define and maintain project charters, scope, schedules, budgets, and governance while managing day-to-day execution across multiple teams and vendors
• Establish delivery baselines and metrics, track performance, and facilitate technical and business decisions to achieve project goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, project management, or a related field
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience, with at least ten (10) years managing complex software development and cloud initiatives
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and Java-based applications, including managing dependencies and risks
• Strong command of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies, with the ability to tailor practices based on project needs
