Technical Project Manager - Data
Job Summary
Driving the day-to-day execution of complex data and Databricks engagements, the full-time Technical Project Manager - Data will manage project plans, maintain Jira boards, and ensure alignment between technical delivery and client priorities in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own the execution and operating rhythm of assigned Databricks and data projects
- Maintain project plans, milestones, and RAID logs while ensuring work progresses through the delivery lifecycle
- Produce and distribute the Weekly Pulse Report to communicate project health and risks to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of project or program management experience in data, analytics, cloud, or data platform implementations
- Demonstrated experience managing technical engineering teams and complex technical workstreams
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and Agile delivery practices
- Experience with Databricks or comparable modern cloud data platforms
- Ability to understand technical architecture and translate complex concepts into business terms
