Job Summary

To support a growing Business Development team, the remote Senior Proposal Writer will manage the proposal writing lifecycle, author a variety of technical content related to IT services, and oversee a small proposal team while ensuring compliance and quality in submissions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of the proposal process, including strategy planning, content writing, and internal reviews to articulate business value
  • Coordinate proposal management activities, including document creation, proposal schedules, and executive summaries, while adhering to company standards
  • Supervise a small proposal team, providing guidance on writing assignments and ensuring deadlines are met with quality content
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related STEM field with 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management for Federal contracts, with knowledge of Federal/DoD contracting
  • Proven experience writing and managing proposals over $30M in value, with familiarity in 8(a) sole source proposals preferred
  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled proposal development tools and generating prompts is highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs, including strong writing and editing skills
