Technical Services Controls Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Technical Services Controls Technician, this remote position based in Spain will focus on the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and support of automated control systems while collaborating with U.S.-based teams and local project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for software configuration, updates, and troubleshooting related to ThermalWorks control systems
• Serve as a technical liaison between the U.S.-based automation team and customers, vendors, and project teams across Europe
• Configure, install, commission, test, troubleshoot, and support ThermalWorks automated control systems and assist with startup activities

Required Qualifications

• Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior), Associate degree, or equivalent technical qualification in Automation, Industrial Electronics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience supporting, installing, commissioning, or troubleshooting industrial automation or control systems
• Technical training or certifications in PLCs, DDC systems, or similar automation platforms are preferred
• Experience working with networked control environments and supporting commissioning activities in industrial or commercial settings
• Proficiency with PLC/DDC controllers and familiarity with electrical systems and components
