Job Summary
Providing expert support and troubleshooting for healthcare IT systems, the full-time remote Technical Services Engineer, PACS will serve as the primary technical support resource for PACS/RIS projects, ensuring high service quality and continuous improvement in support processes.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary PACS technical support resource, providing second-level support and troubleshooting escalated technical issues
- Coordinate projects and manage customer communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and effective issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex issues while maintaining detailed incident records and contributing to process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or radiology-focused technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as experience with MSSQL database management
- Experience supporting PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, and other healthcare IT systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software applications and experience with public cloud environments
