Technical Solutions Architect

Job Summary

To define and deliver end-to-end IoT solutions for customer-specific programs, the fully remote Technical Solutions Architect will engage with customers to translate business needs into architectural specifications, develop IoT solution architectures, and serve as the primary technical interface between customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to gather business needs and technical requirements, translating them into clear architectural specifications and implementation plans
• Define comprehensive IoT solution architectures that encompass hardware design, embedded firmware, connectivity layers, and cloud services
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture documents, proposals, and design packages, while participating in design and architecture reviews throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in IoT, embedded, wireless, cloud-connected products, or technical solutions architecture
• Demonstrated customer-facing technical experience in requirements discovery, architecture definition, and proposal development
• Experience with product development workflows, including validation planning and regulatory readiness
• Strong understanding of secure device-to-cloud data-flow models and relevant communication protocols
