Job Summary
Leading technical trade studies and software evaluations, the full-time remote Technical Solutions Manager will manage the SaaS selection process, oversee vendor operations, and ensure effective tool deployment and license management for the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical trade studies and software evaluations to ensure architectural fit, security, and cost efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and select optimal SaaS solutions
- Oversee daily license management, predicting budget requirements for renewals and tracking software costs per user
Required qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in IT/IS roles focused on software architecture, enterprise tool evaluation, SaaS management, or IT operations
- Proven track record of leading technical trade studies and vendor evaluations for software acquisitions
- Strong experience partnering with InfoSec, Legal, and Procurement on technical due diligence and contract negotiations
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week
