Technical Specialist for Concept Notes
Job Summary
Working remotely on a consultancy basis, the Technical Specialist for Concept Notes will formulate and draft high-quality concept notes aligned with FAO's strategic frameworks and national priorities, ensuring compliance with donor requirements for up to 11 months.
Key responsibilities
- Draft high-quality concept notes on priority programmatic areas, ensuring alignment with FAO's strategic frameworks and donor requirements
- Integrate cross-cutting issues such as gender, climate change, and nutrition into concept notes in accordance with guidelines
- Provide technical support on concept note structure, formulation, and resource mobilization, including guidance on results frameworks and theory of change
Required qualifications
- Advanced University degree in international development studies, economics, political and social sciences, or related fields; a bachelor's degree with two additional years of experience is acceptable
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in concept note development
- Working knowledge of English at level C
