Technical Staff Member

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Member of Technical Staff, the candidate will contribute to the development of the Socket web application, collaborate with design teams to enhance user experience, and help shape the product roadmap while fostering team culture and foundational frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the end-to-end development of the Socket web application
• Collaborate with the design team to create user-friendly interfaces and write APIs for data delivery
• Participate in team growth decisions, including hiring and interviewing processes

Required qualifications

• Experience in an early-stage team in a 0-1 role focused on building foundational systems
• Proven track record in designing and implementing production web applications
• Experience with building and integrating APIs and working with relational databases like Postgres
• Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements
