Job Summary
Providing senior-level guidance on enterprise web modernization, the full-time Technical Subject Matter Expert will advise on Drupal/WCMS architecture, cloud operations, and digital services initiatives for Federal healthcare platforms, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on architecture, modernization strategy, and technical tradeoffs for public-facing websites and web applications
- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with Federal web requirements, focusing on scalability and security
- Support technical issue resolution and mentor technical staff while communicating complex options to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in technical advisory or architecture support for large public-facing websites
- Strong understanding of Drupal or comparable WCMS platforms and custom web development
- Experience with cloud-hosted environments, preferably AWS, including performance and security considerations
- Working knowledge of Section 508, WCAG, and Federal digital service expectations
- Ability to communicate technical risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
