Job Summary

Providing specialized technical support remotely, the full-time Technical Support Analyst - IBM i will troubleshoot customer issues, analyze complex systems, and ensure timely resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction and operational success.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth technical troubleshooting and system analysis based on customer configurations and reported issues
  • Communicate effectively with high-priority customers, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the resolution process
  • Set up and configure advanced test environments to replicate issues and validate software functionality
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or IBM i system analysis, focusing on software troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of IBM i system configurations and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience with IBM i administration, including software installations and networking tasks
  • Proficiency in diagnosing complex technical issues and identifying root causes
