Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FSC Technical Support Engineer-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for building automation and control systems
• Troubleshoot application, communication, and control system problems using tools like Wireshark
• Document issues and solutions in a Call Tracking Database and maintain technical skills on JCI products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or an associate's technical degree with relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years (or 7 years with an associate's degree) of field technical experience
• Strong understanding of JCI Controls products, BACnet protocols, and HVAC systems
• Experience with Wireshark for troubleshooting MS/TP and BACnet over IP captures
• Knowledge of AC and DC circuits and building automation systems design and maintenance
