Job Summary

To maintain the reliability and performance of customer environments remotely, the full-time Technical Support Engineer will troubleshoot issues related to Linux, OpenStack, and Kubernetes while collaborating with the development team and participating in on-call rotations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues in customer environments involving Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and networking technologies
  • Reproduce and confirm customer issues in labs, providing detailed information to the development team
  • Manage escalations and communicate effectively with customers during incidents, ensuring timely updates and resolutions
Required qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; four-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience (3+ years in technical customer support for IaaS/SaaS technologies)
  • Strong knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Linux system administration
  • Experience with networking tools and troubleshooting network issues
  • Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation tasks
  • Experience with DCOPs, firmware upgrades, and virtualization solutions
