Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer will independently manage complex technical issues related to application, integration, and infrastructure layers, ensuring clear communication with customers and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve application, database, integration, and performance issues in production WMS/logistics environments
- Write and review SQL queries to validate data integrity and analyze execution plans
- Serve as an escalation point for Tier 1 support and collaborate with Tier 3 and Engineering on complex issues
Required qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent hands-on experience with 3+ years in enterprise application support
- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL, including query writing and database performance improvement
- Proficiency in troubleshooting issues on Windows Server and across applications, databases, and infrastructure
- Familiarity with system integrations, including APIs and file transfers
- Experience in operational or support environments, including exposure to ITIL processes and service management tools
