Job Summary

To support a growing IoT initiative, the full-time Technical Support Engineer will provide third-level technical support for internet-connected products, engage in technical consulting, and collaborate with internal teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide third-level technical support for launched internet-connected products and manage support cases with internal engineering teams
  • Analyze customer needs and create solution approaches while serving as a technical resource for strategic customers
  • Write and release knowledge base articles and participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address urgent issues
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a related role within a high-tech industry
  • Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP(S), and RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with networking protocols like Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, ZigBee, and Z-Wave is a plus
  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
