Job Summary

Providing expert support and troubleshooting for healthcare IT systems, the full-time remote Technical Support Engineer, PACS will serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, manage escalated technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service quality and operational success.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary PACS technical support resource for healthcare IT projects and provide second-level support for PACS/RIS systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries through various channels, ensuring timely and professional communication while coordinating project tasks
  • Monitor support queues, maintain detailed records of incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in support processes
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 3 years in a healthcare or radiology-focused technical support position
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, along with experience in MSSQL database management and networking concepts
  • Experience supporting PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, EMR, and other healthcare IT systems
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software applications and experience with public cloud environments
