Job Summary
Providing technical radio expertise and customer education, the full-time remote Technical Support Specialist will troubleshoot two-way radio systems, assist customers with equipment configuration, and deliver training on optimal radio use.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for two-way radio systems, including troubleshooting hardware and signal issues
- Assist customers in configuring radios for optimal use and selecting appropriate equipment based on their needs
- Conduct training sessions and maintain documentation of support cases and common troubleshooting steps
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with two-way radio systems
- Strong understanding of radio frequency (RF) fundamentals and familiarity with UHF/VHF systems
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms
- Customer service mindset with the ability to troubleshoot independently
- Experience with business band (LMR) radios and amateur (ham) radio equipment
