Job Summary
Providing technical support to customers, the full-time remote Technical Support Specialist will analyze problems with electro/mechanical equipment and software applications, serve as the primary liaison between Roche and customers, and maintain a database of issues while working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues with non-functioning equipment, software, or reagents to recommend corrective actions
- Act as the primary support liaison between Roche and customers, addressing application questions and solutions
- Maintain and improve the quality system while contributing to departmental goals through independent or team efforts
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent military training in medical technology, electronics, or a related field
- Experience in phone customer service
- Background in clinical chemistry applications
- Interest in working flexible shifts, including weekends
- Knowledge of applications training in cobas systems or mass spectrometry is preferred
