Job Summary

Supporting small business owners remotely, the full-time Technical Support Specialist will manage customer inquiries regarding financial workflows, assist with software navigation, and provide expert guidance on accounting best practices.

Key responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing sessions
  • Master financial modules to provide expert guidance on invoicing, accounts receivable, and job costing
  • Troubleshoot accounting integration issues and guide customers on best practices within the software
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical support or accounting
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles such as debits/credits and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software for data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a feedback-oriented and rapidly changing environment
