Technical Translator - Luxembourgish

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the freelance Technical Translator - Luxembourgish will translate technical documentation from English into Luxembourgish while ensuring high grammatical accuracy and adherence to project guidelines in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source material
• Perform linguistic tasks according to project instructions, including the use of translation memory and style guides
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy and consistency while adhering to formatting and cultural references

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native speaker of Luxembourgish
• Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing
• Preferred experience in translation and proofreading within the technical field
• Familiarity with CAT tools and a willingness to learn new technologies
