Technical Translator - Russian

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the freelance Technical Translator - Russian will translate technical documentation from Italian to Russian, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project guidelines in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source material
• Perform linguistic tasks according to project instructions, including using translation memory and style guides
• Maintain grammatical accuracy and consistency in terminology while adhering to formatting and cultural references

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native speaker of the Russian language with excellent comprehension and writing skills in Italian
• Preferred experience in translation and proofreading within the technical field
• Proficiency in CAT tools and comfortable with technology
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines
