Technical Translator with Hungarian

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the freelance Technical Translator with Hungarian will translate technical documentation from English and Italian into Hungarian, ensuring accuracy and quality in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure target text accurately reflects the meaning of the source material and meets client expectations
• Provide corrections and optimizations based on machine translation output while adhering to post-editing guidelines
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy and consistency in terminology, formatting, and cultural references throughout the translation process

Required qualifications

• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• Native speaker of Hungarian with excellent command of the Italian language
• Experience in Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) and familiarity with CAT tools
• Preferred background in translation and proofreading within the technical field
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple project priorities
