Job Summary
To support documentation needs, the full-time onsite Procedure/Technical Writer 2 will design, draft, and maintain various technical documents, ensuring they are practical and accessible for personnel in the utility industry.
Key responsibilities
- Design, draft, and maintain documentation such as Process Maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Job Aids
- Update manuals and ensure documentation meets current standards and safety requirements
- Schedule and facilitate working sessions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and reviewers
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of technical writing experience or 3-5+ years with strong utility/industrial exposure
- Proven experience producing technical and procedural documentation in a relevant industry
- Strong facilitation skills for conducting SME working sessions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other relevant software
- Experience in utilities, energy, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments is strongly preferred
