Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer to join for a 12-month fully remote contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage and publish SOPs in a content management system based on drafts created by documentation specialists
• Transform SOPs into the required coded format (DITA XML, HTML) and perform copy editing prior to publication
• Collaborate with content specialists to clarify, improve, and finalize SOPs before publishing

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a writing or lead writing role
• Experience with XML-based publishing systems and tools such as Oxygen XML Author
• Familiarity with DITA XML, HTML, and structured authoring workflows
• Experience using tools such as Ajuda and Workfront
• Writing background (no specific degree or certification required)
