Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer to create and edit technical documentation for defense-aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, rewrite, and edit various technical documents to ensure clear communication
• Acquire subject knowledge through interviews and review of technical materials
• Conduct quality reviews and participate in project team meetings to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 4-6 years of professional experience, or 2-4 years with a related Master's degree
• 2-4 years of experience in acquiring and verifying technical subject matter content
• 2-4 years of experience in managing technical writing projects from planning to delivery
• Proficiency in XML authoring, MS Office, MS Word, and Acrobat Authoring Tools
• Ability to write technical content for manuals related to electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment
