Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Writer to support federal government programs in developing and maintaining documentation and training materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program tasks by creating and updating documentation, manuals, and user training materials
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational guides while ensuring compliance with federal standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate the technical accuracy of documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation development in federal or enterprise environments
- Proven experience developing SOPs and structured operational documentation
- Experience working in federal government environments with knowledge of documentation standards and compliance requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; must reside in the Continental US
