Technical Writer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Writer III will manage technical documentation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and create content that supports the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical documentation projects from design to release, prioritizing deliverables and timelines with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product teams to gather requirements and provide input on user interface design and documentation integration
• Review and edit technical documentation for accuracy and adherence to style guidelines, ensuring quality standards are met

Required qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Technical Communications, Writing, English, or a related area, or equivalent experience
• At least three years of technical writing experience
• Experience with Linux systems and command-line interface
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTTP, REST, JSON) and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
