Job Summary
Owning the documentation process, the full-time In-House Technical Writer will create API references, SDK guides, tutorials, and other technical content while collaborating with engineering and growth marketing teams, with the flexibility to work remotely or hybrid from San Francisco.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end documentation including API references, SDK guides, and tutorials that align with product releases
- Write engaging technical content that showcases real use cases and helps developers understand product capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering and growth teams to maintain documentation accuracy and relevance, responding to feedback from various channels
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience writing for technical or developer-facing products
- Proficiency in reading and understanding code, particularly in Python or TypeScript
- Experience creating both concise API documentation and comprehensive tutorials
- Strong ability to work independently and prioritize documentation needs without needing detailed briefs
- A background in technical writing, developer relations, or technical content marketing
