Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Technical Documentation Specialist will create and maintain user-focused technical documentation, collaborating with product, engineering, and operational teams to translate complex concepts into clear, structured materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical design documents, operating procedures, and how-to guides aligned with product roadmaps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment in documentation
• Maintain a centralized technical documentation library with version control and consistency across all materials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of recent experience in a technical writing or documentation role
• Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
• Working knowledge of relational databases and modern application development environments
• Understanding of systems integration, SaaS platforms, and cloud infrastructure architectures
