Technical Writer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time contract role, the Technical Writer will research, write, and edit technical content while collaborating with engineers and other technical writers to ensure compliance with quality management system requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit technical documentation in collaboration with engineers and subject matter experts
• Perform peer reviews and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Manage project schedules, risks, and quality objectives to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Writing, or a related discipline
• Five or more years of experience in managing complex projects and creating technical documentation
• Proficiency in Adobe products (FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat) and Microsoft Suite software
• Experience with XML authoring tools and strong project management skills in an engineering context
• Working knowledge of electronics and familiarity with engineering processes
