Job Summary

To support critical business operations across North America, the part-time hourly Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to create clear documentation, including work instructions and process documentation, while working remotely or onsite in Portland, OR.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with business process experts to gather information and develop user-friendly work instructions
  • Lead stakeholder meetings to clarify documentation requirements and translate complex information into standardized formats
  • Create and maintain various business process documents, including flowcharts and quick reference guides
Required qualifications
  • Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in Technical Writing, Business Writing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Business Process Writer, or Business Process Analyst
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Visio, along with strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience documenting business processes and creating end-user documentation
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
