Technical Writer

Job Summary

To support an organization in the infrastructure and engineering industry, the remote long-term contract Technical Writer will document network architectures, create process maps and operational playbooks, and manage Confluence spaces while collaborating with engineering and IT teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Document network architectures, automation workflows, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Create process maps, SOPs, and operational playbooks with subject matter experts
• Manage and organize Confluence spaces, templates, and documentation

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in IT, networking, or engineering
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls)
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD)
• Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io and Confluence
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
